Snow in October

Yesterday, October 6th, we woke up to a white wonderland. It was snowing all day so in between conferences we dressed warm and went outside. We built a snowman the height of our dad (with the help of dad lifting up the gigantic snowballs) , he had seashells for eyes, candy corns for the mouth, baby carrot for the nose and a white and purple scarf ( its neck was too big so we took some snow off and made it work!) We got 5-6 inches of snow, we were so happy!! The snow was falling like we lived in Woodland, and not blowing sideways like our usual Idaho storms. The snowflakes were the size of half-dollars
